Events on Permits, Portal 3, and Offstreet Payments

From merging Permits and Registrations to launching a brand-new Portal and expanding payment capabilities, here’s everything that’s new:

Events on Permits

Our Events feature is now built on Permits instead of Registrations, streamlining the entire event parking experience.

• Creating an Event in the Dashboard now generates a Permit Type instead of a Registration Setting.
• When parkers register for an event, a Permit is created in Offstreet.
• This transition paves the way for a unified parking management system by eliminating legacy infrastructure.

New Portal 3

Event links now direct users to Portal 3, designed for a smoother user experience.

• Portal 3 is fully compatible with Permits, whereas Portal 2 is not.
• Non-Event links will still direct users to Portal 2.
• New design encourages more users to enter their email for receipts.

Event Permit List

Dashboard users can now view Event sessions in-app instead of downloading spreadsheets.

• Quickly access Event permits by navigating to the ‘Permits’ tab inside an Event.

Offstreet Payments

Paid parking is now built directly into Offstreet.

• Flexible setup across any location, including visitor lots and event areas.
• Scalable for large events, supporting 10,000+ attendees.
• Offstreet acts as the Merchant of Record, handling compliance and payments.
